Font Schemes
Named typography sets mapped to Elementor's Global Typography slots. Switch the active set globally, conditionally, or let visitors choose — every widget updates automatically.
How it works
Font Schemes is the typographic counterpart of Color Schemes. Each scheme overrides Elementor's global typography slots — family, weight, size, line-height, letter-spacing, and text transform — without touching any widget directly.
Navigate to Site Settings → Font Schemes to create and manage named typography sets.
Activating a scheme
| Method | How |
|---|---|
| Global default | Set as the site-wide active scheme in Font Schemes settings |
| Per page / post | Override in the page's ECS panel inside the Elementor editor |
| Conditionally | Attach to a Custom Look with display conditions and/or time intervals |
| Visitor-controlled | Drop the ECS Font Scheme Selector widget on any page |
Per-slot control
Each scheme sets values independently for every Global Typography slot. Slots you leave empty inherit the Elementor kit defaults — you only override what you need.

Use cases
- Dual editorial system: "Editorial" scheme with Playfair Display for the blog, "Corporate" with Inter for product pages — switch by section.
- Rebrand in one step: change the site's typography globally without touching any widget.
- Multilingual sites: serve a different font family for scripts that require it (Arabic, CJK, etc.) without duplicating templates.
- Campaign typography: a seasonal font active only during a time interval, via Custom Looks.
