Troubleshooting
Check the response, the connection and the exact permissions before retrying.
401 Unauthorized
Send Authorization: Bearer YOUR_AICOM_KEY on every request. Check whether the key is valid, expired, suspended or revoked. After rotation, update the client configuration. Hosting or proxy rules can also remove the Authorization header.
Connection refused or REST route blocked
Try the fallback endpoint https://example.com/?aicom=1 with the same Authorization header. If a host filters non-browser requests, retry with appropriate User-Agent, Accept and Accept-Language headers. Do not disable TLS verification. If the problem persists, inspect the hosting or security rule responsible.
403 or allowlist denial
Read the exact error. The tool may require a scope, a permitted resource, an enabled module or an unlocked safety state. A file-path denial means the directory is outside the key’s allowlist; the site owner must authorize the intended directory. Do not work around access boundaries.
No active session
Call session.status. Before writes, destructive actions or sensitive administration, call session.open with a meaningful name and description. Close it after verification.
Safety lock
Soft Lock blocks mutations; Hard Lock permits only public tools. Review manual settings and working-hours rules under AICOM → Safety. See safety locks.
Missing tool or invalid arguments
Use tools/list, tools/search and tools/describe. A tool may be absent because of the installed version, inactive integration or key permissions. Use the names and parameters returned by the server.
Timeout or stale output
Read the target and audit record before repeating a write: a timeout does not prove it failed. Use idempotency keys where supported. Break large jobs into smaller steps. For changed Elementor pages, use elementor.page.regenerate_assets. AICOM 3.23+ also provides wp.cache.purge for supported site caches; inspect availability first.
AICOMBase connection
Keep the plugin updated and follow the current connection guide. Confirm that the intended site appears in your account.
Still stuck?
Email assist@dudaster.com or use the support forum. Include plugin version, tool name, redacted arguments, error response and request or audit ID. Never include API tokens.
