AICOM 3.23.1
AICOM exposes WordPress operations through MCP and OpenAPI. The current release documented here is 3.23.1. Install or update from WordPress.org; use server.status to check the version installed on your own site.
Your site determines your tool catalog
There is no single tool count for every connection. The installed version, enabled modules, plugin dependencies and API-key permissions determine which tools appear. Call tools/list for the actual catalog, tools/search to find a task, and tools/describe for exact parameters.
| Area | Purpose |
|---|---|
| WordPress Core | Posts, pages, terms, metadata, options, navigation and discovery. |
| Media & Files | Media library and file operations within allowed directories. |
| Users & Roles | User profiles and role management, according to permissions. |
| Backup | Post and term snapshots; Elementor has page-specific backup tools. |
| Elementor | Page trees, widget fields, bulk text changes, templates and CSS regeneration. |
| WooCommerce | Products, categories, prices, stock and supported settings. |
| Polylang / WPML | Language assignment and translation links for supported content. |
| Yoast SEO / SEOPress | Read and update supported SEO fields. |
| ECS / Clautron | Tools for the corresponding installed integrations. |
| Skills / Sessions | Reusable procedures and named, auditable work sessions. |
AICOM and AICOMBase
AICOMBase is the online dashboard for connected sites, monitoring, site checks and AI activity. AICOM is the plugin on each WordPress site. You can connect directly through MCP or optionally connect your site to AICOMBase.
Start here
- Install AICOM.
- Create a scoped API key for direct access, or connect AICOMBase.
- Connect your client; see Claude Code.
- Start with a read-only request. Before changes, open a named session, back up supported content and verify afterward.
Requirements
Release 3.23.1 requires WordPress 6.0+ and PHP 7.4+. Optional integrations require their corresponding plugins and enabled permissions. The plugin is licensed GPL-2.0-or-later.
Release notes
The 3.23 series adds wp.cache.purge for supported caching plugins and makes AICOMBase connection options easier to find. Version 3.23.1 refines cache-purge permissions and fixes stale Elementor readbacks on affected installations. See the official changelog.
