1. About these terms
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website dudaster.com and the WordPress plugins published by Dudaster Studio (“we”, “us”), an independent studio. By accessing the site, downloading any free plugin, or purchasing a Pro license, you agree to these Terms.
2. The plugins
ECS — Ele Custom Skin and AICOM — AI Commander are WordPress plugins distributed under the GNU General Public License v2 or later (GPL-2.0+). The full source code of every plugin is available on the WordPress.org plugin directory and on GitHub.
The free editions are provided at no cost. Pro tiers (Annual or Lifetime) unlock additional modules in exchange for the license fee published on the pricing page.
3. License grant
Buying an ECS Pro Annual or ECS Pro Lifetime license grants you the right to install and use Pro modules on an unlimited number of WordPress sites you own or maintain on behalf of clients. Annual licenses entitle you to plugin updates and priority support for one year from purchase; renewal extends that period by a further year. Lifetime licenses entitle you to updates and support for as long as Dudaster Studio actively ships ECS Pro.
4. Refund policy
You may request a full refund within fourteen (14) calendar days of purchase, no questions asked. Refunds are processed via Gumroad to the original payment method. After the fourteen-day window, all sales are final, except where required by mandatory consumer law.
5. Acceptable use
You may not redistribute the Pro plugin files outside of the GPL terms (e.g. by reselling them as part of a paid bundle without complying with the GPL), reverse-engineer the licensing system to bypass the paid tier, or use the plugins to operate WordPress sites that violate applicable law (illegal content, malware distribution, fraud).
6. Your site, your configuration, your responsibility
You are responsible for the WordPress site, hosting environment, theme, plugins, custom code, AI services, API keys, credentials, backups, content, users, and permissions you connect to or use with our plugins. You are responsible for testing changes on a staging site before using them in production and for keeping recoverable backups.
We are not responsible for loss, corruption, deletion, publication, disclosure, ranking loss, revenue loss, downtime, security incident, compliance issue, or other harm caused by your configuration, your users, your hosting provider, third-party plugins, third-party services, AI providers, prompts, API keys, compromised credentials, or actions taken on your site.
7. AICOM responsibility
AICOM grants AI agents direct read and/or write access to your WordPress site. You are solely responsible for the AI agent you connect, the prompts you provide, the permissions you assign to API keys, and any action the agent performs on your site. We strongly recommend keeping the audit log enabled, scoping API keys to the minimum required permissions, enabling locks when appropriate, and snapshotting backups before destructive operations.
Dudaster Studio is not liable for content changes, deletions, publication errors, data disclosure, broken layouts, SEO changes, compliance issues, or other modifications performed by your AI agent or by anyone using credentials, API keys, tokens, or access that you created or allowed.
8. Third-party services and links
The site and plugins may refer to or integrate with third-party platforms such as WordPress.org, GitHub, Gumroad, Elementor, WooCommerce, Polylang, ACF, hosting providers, email providers, AI providers, or other services. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their availability, security, pricing, data handling, actions, omissions, changes, outages, or terms.
9. Warranty disclaimer
The website, plugins, documentation, examples, code snippets, support replies, and any related materials are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the software will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, compatible with every WordPress installation, compatible with every plugin/theme/server combination, or suitable for any specific legal, commercial, technical, accessibility, SEO, security, or compliance purpose.
You should not treat documentation, examples, or support replies as legal, financial, security, compliance, tax, medical, or professional advice. You are responsible for obtaining professional advice where your use case requires it.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dudaster Studio and its owners, contributors, contractors, suppliers, and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or reputational damages; loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, data, content, rankings, traffic, opportunities, contracts, or expected savings; downtime; security incidents; business interruption; or costs of substitute services, even if we were advised that such damages may occur.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the website, plugins, Pro licenses, support, documentation, or these Terms is limited to the amount you paid Dudaster Studio for the relevant Pro license during the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim. If you used only free products or services, our total aggregate liability is limited to zero, except where a mandatory law requires otherwise.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory consumer protection law.
11. Indemnity
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Dudaster Studio harmless from any claim, demand, loss, liability, damage, cost, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your site, your content, your users, your configuration, your misuse of the plugins, your breach of these Terms, your violation of applicable law, or actions performed by third-party services, AI agents, contractors, employees, or collaborators acting through access you provided or controlled.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the Journal and the updated version will be marked with a new “Last updated” date.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by good-faith discussion will be handled by the competent court or authority.
